A package gone astray
"Ladies and gentlemen, dear public, you can now
enchanted evening and take you to a fantastic story of how she saw the world a second time. Let me tell of the mysterious package, which took up all the way from Germany to Japan to bring me to the Christmas spirit. It is a story of detours, difficulties and disappointments, but also of unspeakable joy and happiness comforting.
Now listen, ladies and Gentlemen, and let pass the time a little.
It started at 11.12. of 2010, which is now in a few hours will lean towards an end. A loving mother packed in big cities Lichen Kaff Großdresbach together the home of the nutty animals and the general chaos that haunt the world even today, a Christmas package for their daughter, but rather un-Christmassy in Kumamoto in the far Japan will probably just spent an exceptionally relaxed Saturday.
This peaceful circumstances should you, dear audience, but do not mislead. Do not be fooled by this idyllic setting. The package was
now filled so well on the 9000km long way to its destination, with various delicacies and gifts of loving family. In 13 days, it knew it was Christmas and wanted to make their way to Kumamoto at any price up to that date. But the circumstances were against it: it can no longer be said with absolute certainty whether it was the severe winter weather around the world, or whether the progress of our great package by competition with so many other packages in his nature, was held back, but the weeks went by, one, two flew by so quickly and still was not the goal in sight. And so
it was that the recipient of his eagerly awaited and every day her letter box on the little note of the dorm office verified, but which was never in it. Even when Christmas finally stood at the door, as the holy evening came, followed by two days of Christmas, still had the package not found the way to her. Who can blame the poor thing? With all the kanji on the signs in Japan need indeed ever a good 10 minutes, until you looked up the first line in the dictionary.
No snowflake thought it necessary, the Christmas spirit to the lonely recipient to bring the whole and not even then was to mute, to celebrate the festival without her family. And so it was that she spent the worst Christmas days of her life and now almost certainly know what it means to have gathered his family safe and sound around them.
began on the last Christmas Day, the recipient of a flu and was on for 4 days in bed, except for a few minutes a day in which they are in pajamas the stairs went down to her mailbox to see if the package was it finally arrived. What a terrible end would have taken our history, they would not have been on 30 on the way to the shopping Mailbox opened completely, instead of just after the slip of paper was glued to the usual caretakers to the outside of the box.
See, in my letterbox a notification of Japan Post, which said that the delivery of the long-awaited package of 29 had not been possible. What a surprise! But ... What now? The caretaker's office she found 29 to 3.1. closed before. So only one path leading to the goal: it had to run with the note to the post office and ask the officer what had it with this slip up. After all, who studied for hours every kanji out on such a stupid piece of paper if you can also directly ask the experts? So thought our rotten recipient and put the plan into action.
The Office was received them from a rather bored civil servant who tried to explain to her briefly, and with mime gestures that they should call a designated number, which was on the list.
It is now undecided whether it was the dumbfounded expression of the recipient, which informed the officers that something as simple as "shite kudasai Kono DENWA bango" ("You must call this number") them absolutely for granted in normal Japanese were, or whether there was another reason which prompted the officer to the rest of the declaration to make far more incomprehensible terms. In any case, understood the recipient of our serviceable package now only Shanghai Railway Station. And then you put the officers also have a question! Now it was time to keep a clear head. Was it a yes-or-no question? Probably. Saved! "Hai" ("Yes!") Was always a good answer. And already babbled on the woman. For the entire word salad, our recipient tinkered so on the way home (it had, of course at that exact moment started to rain) with the fact that the woman had asked her if she was at home the rest of the day and that she should then call the number shown.
new courage so she ran home and barely noticed the apartment door behind her, she was not their doing. Had the woman not perhaps rather asked if they would be outside the home? What now? Council was needed. It quickly became their PC is turned on and, thank heaven, Marijke was found online. The pair were now so over the future of the mission "packet receive" and Marijke they pointed to the home page of the Post, on which was written that undeliverable packages at the following Day between 19 und 21 clock would be brought again. Good things waiting for the recipient so on the package: in vain.
So there was only one choice: they had to call in to a phone number from which not even know what that should ever be a number. The world had conspired against them.
After further discussion about whether they themselves or Marijke, should call their own or with their Chinese roommate to help with this number (because her Chinese roommate spoke much better Japanese than the recipient), she grabbed the levity and laundry ; Sample number - alone and without Assistance in the area. The probability was high but in the end that draws such a large company such as Japan post a belt loop, the caller, right? And if they do not understand something, then she could finally hang up and look up the words, right? Wrong!
For it, a woman reported at the other end of the line that sounded pretty real. "Help!" the recipient of our thought and began immediately to babbling unintelligible nonsense. That it had received a message from the post due to a package that could explain so far. But where were suddenly vocabulary to explain that she had not received the package and would have like to resent? After several failed attempts, she hit the woman at the other end, finally, explain to her in English, because where was the problem.
In English, of course, the problem was resolved quickly and it was searched all the necessary information together, which took the woman for the re-delivery. But where the hell the recipient should now get their phone number harsh, but if it was stored in the mobile phone with which she was on the phone with the woman from the post office?
Also for this Problem was found quickly a solution and so it happened that way, the recipient had to call Marijke, dictated her then her own phone number they gave it to the postal workers.
Pretty much effort for a package, you think? Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is Japan! But
was told that the package only a few hours later and finally after 20 days of the tour found its way into the hands of our recipient. And what not for beautiful and festive things in it were! The fresh tidy room sank immediately in the chaos of packing materials, gifts and eat and the more unpacked the recipient, the happier she became. And forgotten was the fixed date and the limited time, for all these things aroused the Christmas spirit in her as something else never before. And happy they started singing Christmas carols as they tucked the signs of the love of family, or sets up. While the outside was quiet the snow. "
Is that not even a slightly different Christmas story? ^ ^ It's not The Fairytale of Kumamoto, but The Nightmare After Christmas, but there was a happy ending but still:) So I would like
now available to all Thank those involved for this wonderful gift.
Thank Ningie and Dad for all these delicacies and practical things for everyday life. Of the glasses are all but one remained sealed and are now in the freezer. Can you eat the contents of the glass, which has risen, because now? Thank you also for the other gift ^ ^
Thank you, Grandma Edith, for the beautiful candles and the wonderful card:) The snow man is the coolest thing I've ever seen! He now sits in front of the small Christmas tree, with the bracelet on his hat, for that I can not make. But it's nevertheless good for decoration:) Thanks also for the generous donation;)
Thank you, Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Heinz, for my favorite cat's tongue and the body lotion. As always you had, Grandma, the right nose and sent me exactly the right thing, for I fear that my body lotion will not last much longer and that is exactly the lotion, which I always used! And thanks for the great gift. You understand already ^ ^ Thank you also to
Sisti for the cool T-shirt and calendar. You can tell, you know me really good ^ ^ My beloved Nightmare Before Christmas, even though this year was saved for me not from the U.S. Army and the real Santa Claus XD But for that I am happier now! And the calendar is already;)
This night it has snowed enough that a little lying on the roof remains, as this morning we went to the shopping, the air smelled of snow and it was cold as it should be for the winter. This alone has already put me in a good mood, because so far this winter has been missing here, something that is finally in place. And now, on New Year's Eve, I am now into the Christmas spirit that does not end with a dinner or gifts must, for your lovely gifts I got so at last. It is simply the feeling that you are with me:)

A walk in the afternoon
John and I have now made a long walk unwittingly through the east of Kumamoto. Actually, we just wanted to in the next quarter or the next village, or do whatever you can call it. There, we wanted to visit a German bakery and We may buy a little bread. Unfortunately, John had not expected that I would take him to the expression "walk" seriously (he thought we Spatzierer from the train station to the bakery and back), so we were a little off guard, as we actually ran all the way on foot.
We thought we were always close to the train tracks and walked a little through the quiet streets of rural areas. We got some beautiful spots to face and it has also done a lot of fun even if we do not ultimately to the bakery done, because we have run instead of a train stop just two ... But we put ourselves in Hikari no Mori in a Starbucks, drinking coffee or eating Dougnuts and then walked a bit through the shops there before we were on our way home.

Funny Quotes Marriage Sailing
My friends
I thought to myself, sometimes I write a kind of profile for the people with whom I'm running around Sun I will always add new information when I get some.
Nadav Eldar
Age: 20 Birthplace
: Jerusalem
Home Country: Israel / France
Current location: Leeds and Amsterdam
languages: Hebrew, French, English, Dutch ; ndisch, Japanese
most common sentence: Life is a dream, yes! (He always tries to speak German, which does not)
Well, I think, Nadav is described well in the Swedish ones. Imagine a French-born Israeli, who studied philosophy in England, and Japanese and lives in Amsterdam. When it comes to Nadav, he is Dutch. But he is too French.
He is in his life came around so much that it will probably surprise anyone if I say that he has absolutely no shyness. On the contrary: he the personification of the Japanese expression "Narenareshii" is which means as much as someone who from the beginning a little too friendly, buddy-like, and maybe a little pushy. He likes to talk with strangers and lunges at every girl that looks just so busy that she could not talk to him (as I said, very French).
He tried just about everything from what's under his nose and happen all the time on ridiculous ideas that bring us more often than not in trouble (could).
He is a staunch advocate of the theory that with alcohol (and a lot of it) has a lot more fun than without. If then grass this comes, Nadav is happy (perhaps more Dutch?).
Nadav can also be very stressful, because do not always have nerves for his hijinx, nutty ideas, taunts or his ignorance of Vernuft and decency.
Nadav speaks two languages fluently, and those are insults and sarcasm. This is most of the time very entertaining, because you can in return not to insult him, because he does not crooked. So we can deliver for hours with his war of words, without being boring.
Unfortunately, he masters a thing so absolutely not, the atmosphere and to read the body language of other people. Hence it is often times before, that he and his jokes too far and not notice it. But since he is 100% honest and open, and everything says what he thinks, he assumes that other people say to him if they last. This is of course not always the case and so there are sometimes unpleasant situations when you need him pennant that he has gone too far and should apologize better.
I think Nadav is the epitome of the phrase "free spirit". I could not imagine actually living with him in an apartment. I would probably commit suicide before. Well, then, is Nadav that wishes to grow in the near future any committed relationship. However, he informed me that he probably would get married someday, which I think is a disaster for the poor woman, I do not want to see who makes the mistake of marrying him. According to his statement but this will be a woman, he will have to endure. God's grace to us when the two meet ...
This does not mean that Nadav is not lovable. On the contrary. We all agree that we love him and Nadav would prefer never to give up again, but I think to spend his life with him in a confined space, none of us wants. For he is too tiring.
The most impressive things I've learned so far about Nadav and with whom he is in spite of his usual pomposity so far remained in the dark, are things that I would be confident of René. With 16 Nadav climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and is the beginning of October the marathon of Aso-san to the university in Kumamoto (about 60km) run there. Moreover, Nadav, in principle, only in its second year of Japanese studies and is expected to speak, in principle, not so good Japanese. But he lived before the year in Kumamoto for 7 months in Tokyo, where part of language courses and the Learned in the afternoon practice on numerous dates. Therefore, he now speaks almost as good as some of the Japanese level 5 students, which I think is pretty crass. The reason to study Japanese, has incidentally a relatively Nadav touch: He felt it was a great challenge and decided, therefore, is, as so often, even to challenge and to learn the language.
Nadavs dream (or rather, life goal, dream sounds too romantic for someone like Nadav) is to have a boat and out to open a club to be world famous. I personally will do my best to help him as best I can.
That should get rich first, more than for me to not just one Nadav. He is much too unique to be able to describe him. If you have not met him, one can grasp its essence probably never.
Mathieu Julien
Age: 24 Birthplace
: Bordeaux
home country: France
Current Residence: Bordeaux
languages: French, English, Japanese
most common sentence: Oh! (Mathieu also tried frequently to speak German, but unfortunately he has never spoken in his life, German or learned. He confuses Germany and the Netherlands constantly ...)
Mathieu is probably the most French of French, one can imagine. As the son of an African woman and a Frenchman he would have the best conditions to become one of the French suburban gangster. Instead, Mathieu is at heart a very quiet, thoughtful person who likes to enjoy peace and solitude and a lot of thinking.
On the other hand, it is essential if Nadav is one of the party, because he can just turn off like Nadav bring him but at the same time also best to reason. His French character compels him most of the frequently to behave in a little too macho when it comes to women. Therefore, one can carry with it nerve-wracking debates about differences between men and women and issues of equality, which I can very quickly up the wall.
When he told me the first time that in France it is more of a nerd and playing WOW, I almost fell out of the clouds. He also does not seem to have very many friends, I also can not understand back in France, for he is not only entertaining but also very insightful and definitely a shoulder to cry on when you have problems. 'm
When Mathieu I, in contrast to Nadav pretty sure he is even a great father and he is determined to marry his current girlfriend, because even though he will not admit it, I do think that he misses her very much (he writes to her yes often enough on the day;)).
Mathieu is also chronically late. Frenchman out;)
Matt (hew) Wilkinson
Age: 21 Birthplace
:
Home Country: England
Current location: Leeds
languages: English, Japanese, German
most common Rate: Bloody French!
Well, that first thing you can say about Matt probably is that he is the most masculine gay men that I have ever met. And one of the most British British. Including accents and patriotism;)
Matt, optionally Cuddly Matt, is in itself a big teddy bear, one would like to hug every time you see him. Or he pulls up his pants, which actually is always half his ass slid down.
He has a great sense of humor (and a very British) and Nadav can take his comments before the dry wind from the sails, which is really an art. You can also very good dance with him, much to the dismay of many bystander Japanese men who misinterpret the obvious that Matt is dancing with all the girls that are in our group there. When you see him at parties, then it is almost always surrounded by girls who use it either as a pillow, hug him, to him by the hair wuscheln or impress him the odd kiss. Who is Matt, loves that can only be heartless. Sorry, Matt finds
no taste for Asian men and their partners will find this year probably almost impossible. Poor Matty.
on alcohol and drugs seems to think Matt Nadavs join, even if he It can definitely better accept that some people simply do not drink alcohol. Because of its long experience with the fermented drug he knows seemingly endless anecdotal telling of delirium that contribute to the general amusement.
Marie-Laure Louise-Julie
Age: 21 Birthplace
Caribbean (do not know exactly where)
home country: France
Current Residence: Bordeaux
languages: French, The most common English, English
sentence: No, it's okay.
Marie-Laure corresponds much the cliché of a black woman: She's loud, she likes to dance, she likes to party. Much more can I say to her, too, for very much longer seems her life not to exist.
She does not speak Japanese and learn it first at the university. When asked why she just came to Japan, she obviously knows himself no reply, but she seems to regret at least a little. I can not blame her, because life must be pretty tough here if you can not Japanese ... The problem also related to Marion, who speaks to us only in Japanese and English can not ... Fortunately, however, they are both French.
Kathy Walters
Age: 19 Birthplace
:
Home Country: England
Current location: Leeds
languages: English, Japanese, French
Kathy is a strange person. Not that it would be nice. But their style is a little strange. Let's start with the most striking feature at all here: her make-up. Kathy
should definitely take one beauty advice, because I've never seen a man who is so awful make-up as Kathy. First, it is pale as a corpse, which is probably because she is English. Unfortunately, she apparently not aware that the make-up, which plotting, that is longer than a shade darker than natural skin tone, because otherwise it looks as if you wear a mask. Kathy looks but not like she was wearing a mask, it's just spotty. Furthermore, they used two tons of mascara and eyeliner it extends only up to half of their eyes. Furthermore, they usually wears pink and red eye shadow. This all sounds harmless, but in reality it is quite strange. They also often
with transparent clothing with a non-matching colored bra underneath.
In principle, one can However, quite good talk with her, because she is a nice person, even if they laugh the fine line between about yourself and make yourself a fool has not quite found.
She has a friend in Leeds, about whom she likes to talk within a tolerable extent.
your second major in England is French, which she speaks hopefully better than Japanese.
Kathy is the interesting thing for me its very British accent, which I like to listen to, even though I've always preferred to date American English. Since some people have
get the wrong impression now that I do not like Kathy can, I can say is not the case. You can judge Kathy terrible style probably only if one has it right in his face, but I have tried to describe him something. Well, if you do not know me can be an apt description probably get it wrong. So I just try to find something more positive things about Kathy.
If Kathy is just a good mood, it can be very funny. It is innate, as well as Matt, the British humor. That it is not even unpack the tea and after eight all.
Kathy is very patriotic and have enough for two British national pride, which they also like the French to be out (very to the amusement of the bystanders).
John Hochreuther
Age: 24 Birthplace
: Nördlingen
Home Country: Germany
Current Residence: Bonn
languages: German, English, French, Japanese, Korean
Huh ; most frequent sentence: Well, that is so pretty ... / This is not now, dass .. / Hm, as I say this for now ...?
John Hochreuther. What does the name mean? He is from Bavaria. But do not worry, we can truly forgive him. John is one of the nicest people I've met. After all, he is the first purely friendly friend I've been around 10 years. John is really hard to describe, particularly because any description of him is likely to shed light on the wrong side. I'll try anyway.
John Bavarian origins are particularly evident in the rather conservative attitude, which he puts to light. He has (in my opinion) is very old-fashioned views of relationships, love and marriage, the design is as follows: John falls relatively quickly and when he does go a little through his feelings with him. Not 10 minutes after he noticed that he falls in love again , he will write me a mail or otherwise contact me and tell me that he has found his future wife, because if things went his way, he is the Japanese girls (and they MUST be Japanese), the to the next relationship with him, taking in marriage. Perhaps his biological clock is ticking louder than mine, but John's biggest dream is a Japanese wife, children and a house in Japan. Very romantic. Unfortunately
seem to be interested, however, Japanese women more interested in playing with the gaijin a bit and it was John, so now really the most honest interests, rather heavy, the resident female population. Not that the girls would not be on him, on the contrary. Any woman who has taken John asks us at the next meeting where John first is because. His calm and rather quiet in the Japanese seem to come much better than, say, Nadav, who is rather loud and extroverted.
Another advantage for John is his attractive appearance and be more secure sense of style and fashion. John prefers not to the university, as he appears in the wrong clothes to the front door. Or with an ill-fitting hairstyle ... Therefore, also the first thing John said to start of the month does, a visit to the shopping district of Kumamoto, where he has now left quite a lot of money.
But do not get the impression that John was superficial. It took a few days before John and I had sniffed enough to see that we understand each other well. Are us have spent so few hours trying to talk about everything from the profound meaning of life to political views. Funnily enough, we are in most respects, completely contrasting views, thus extending our debates always pretty hot.
I think our biggest commonality is our inner insecurity in dealing with other people and our critical attitude towards ourselves. John takes this as an opportunity to be seen rather quiet, until someone talks to him and then to carefully consider what he will say and how to say it best. After all, he speaks thus not his neck;)
Unfortunately, it also meets every failure and every conversation vermeindlich failed twice as strong as most other people and it is a great piece of work to him from his tiefgrü LinkedIn depression after such an event again, and dig him up again on its feet.
Furthermore, one with a chilled-afternoon John good spend in the café, trying to stop him, to light up a cigarette every half hour. During this time is a great place to debate or besicken about it as he tells what his roommate (which apparently are the dirtiest of all of us) have made again. The most popular reaction that would give John his roommates like it is, opening his door and throwing a hand grenade into the kitchen. He loves his roommate idolatrous:) Especially the Koreans.
Thats all what we think on the fly to Johannesburg. To be continued ;)
If you have not met him, one can grasp its essence probably never.

home country: France

Because of its long experience with the fermented drug he knows seemingly endless anecdotal telling of delirium that contribute to the general amusement.

languages: French, The most common English, English
sentence: No, it's okay.

Home Country: Germany
Current Residence: Bonn

Fukuoka
Wochenede This (or last) we have Matt's 21st Birthday celebrated in Fukuoka. Fukuoka is the largest city on Kyushu and full of gaijin (foreigners) that we were not the first time since arriving in Japan stared at by everyone and have taken on almost every corner of gaijin who do not always have our presence as excited as we theirs. I take the weekend together also.
All photos can be found here: http://s1187.photobucket.com/albums/z392/sa-m3/Marijke/Fukuoka/?start=80 # cpZZ1QQtppZZ16
But please look after the entry, because they are not ordered.
Friday night we celebrated at home with quite a few friends and acquaintances from Kumamoto, because not everyone could come to Fukuoka / wanted. Sarah, Marijke and I had baked cakes for Matt in the microwave (that one has to undergo purely times ...) and were, therefore, 1 1 / 2 hours late, what else is unusual for the Germans (for the next day we were once again the first one). This had a first and a disadvantage.
The downside was that pretty much everyone was already drunk (and we do not).
The advantage was that Matt was looking forward so much about the cake, as I've never seen a man happy. We also had a nice gig, "Hey Matt, we brought you cake ... and alcohol! "(Hey Matt, we have brought you cake ... and alcohol) Whereupon all cried out enthusiastically, whether because of the cake or because of the alcohol is sometimes to be seen.
The evening was fun with some conversations with Japanese people (including one who had a German roommate who gave him "sweat your mother when Kacken" German words like shit or taught). We were, however, kicked against 12 by the security staff because we were too loud. So we decided to mate in the house to celebrate further, as his roommate already been there,. Also, this section of the evening was very entertaining and feuchfröhlich ...
met Saturday morning, we (the Germans) to Item 9 clock in front of our dorm together in order to wait on the other, which were of course too late. It arrived one after another: the British, Nadav, Marie-Laure (we were very surprised that they did not have 3 hours late) and Mathieu, who, antanzte place as any other with a backpack, the same with a business suitcase, which he brought in over the weekend much sarcasm. At half past 10 we took the bus to Kotsu Senta, where our bus drove 2 hours from Fukuoka. On the highway we were met by three military vehicles, much to my delight. Our first
Impression of Fukuoka was an Epic Fail:
(Lube = Lube)
Our first route took us to our hostel where we checked. Then followed a dinner at a ramen bar.
Then we visited the shrine in the immediate vicinity of the hostel, which was in a shopping mall (in the pleasant morning PA announcements of the shops were heard).
where we had the chance to be a photo with Japanese children to make kimonos
observed
and a Shinto wedding (something is a rarity in Japan, and the chance to watch a wedding in front of his nose is even lower).
This was followed by a visit to a temple that has a huge Buddha statue. We were led here by three incredibly cool and cute Japanese children who strangely had no fear or inhibition in front of us. They can be seen in the group picture at the top of this post.
went to the temple as it so often this weekend in the Subway, where we saw over the weekend following:
- We have made a vast amount of money
- We found that Japanese vending machines a false ticket bought simply assume again and spit out the money to (which Nadav tried for minutes)
- We twice took the wrong subway and went without a real ticket through the area until we at the right station
arrived - We met several gaijin, including a Briton, who showed us the wrong train
- Nadav terrorized a woman by far too close behind them (ie in her personal bubble) and staring at her and placed in the path also sat next to her. Poor woman
With the subway we went to some park that had a huge lake in the middle, where we went Spatzierer an hour or two. Then came Sarah's Japanese friend from Fukuoka to us (not much over the weekend said, though he had made Sunday's birthday). Then we went to a fast food shop called Freshness Burger. The burgers were disgusting, tiny and too expensive, so we are not going there again.
here after we went to the Fukuoka Tower, where we were as a foreigner's admission discount of 2 € (which exploited Honami, the Japanese woman in our group and passed itself off as a Korean woman). We took the elevator to a viewing platform from where we had a breathtaking view of the city.
That was a kind of hotel or something of that kind, where the following day held a wedding. Was very nice.
After the Fukuoka Tower, the trip went to the hostel, where we moved, waiting for that Mathieu comes out of the bathtub, which he had to make sure yet because we have no bathtub in the residence. With some delay we finally broke up in the city where we first looked for a cheap izakaya and Nomikai booked for an hour (because the Izakaya an hour later, already completed, because now it was 1 clock at night).
In search of a club, we found immediately afterwards in the same building, we met several groups of semi-strong Japanese-Aziz and a group of sumo wrestlers.
The club itself was packed, the DJ was just as incompetent as the one in Kumamoto, the engineers apparently found it funny to put the light on permanently flickering, which I personally all participated in the dancing fun. The most interesting points of this section were only acquainted with an American who in Tôkyô lives and Mathieu pretty drunk. These tasteless Japanese even Justin Bieber had run on the screens in the club ...
we go so the next day. He started with checking out from the hostel, which was delayed by:
- Nadav, who had slept through
- Mathieu, simply because he is French
- Kathy, who lost in the night her Portemonnaine the club and noticed it in the morning
Then we ran
across town to the club to see if he might still open (at 11 clock in the morning ... well almost ...) or if we otherwise could somehow come to the Portemonnaine. We were in a hurry, because from 11 bis 13 clock at a temple a Matsuri (festival) should take place, where you could walk on hot coals in order to be cleansed of sins. Nadav naturally wanted to try the file. The fact was that we missed the walk and we only coal burning wishlists remained.
The way there led the way, Other sec of steps, which took us from sea level to a mountain that was probably the height of the Fukuoka Tower (100m). Here, too, was a Toori that was so small that Marijke was little room below.
top we digested the disappointment of a pause and the beautiful views of Fukuoka. Then we ate something and went on our way to the beach where we stayed from 2 to 4:30, put our feet into the ice cold water and played beach volleyball.

It should be a model ...
No, this is not the way it looks!
After a dinner at McDonald's we got Kathy's purse from the club, which opened at 8 in the evening. It was actually still up on all the money in it! That's what I call nice thieves. We got the bus to Kumamoto to 8:30 in the evening and arrived at 11 in Kumamoto, where we found that Sunday drive at this time of no more buses and we had to walk another hour home. on the way home we saw a cat that ate the vomit and climbed through the magic of the university, because we had a detour of 3 minutes too long ...
What I took away from Fukuoka: countless blisters, back pain from my pocket, wonderful photos and memories, a lot of fun!
That was certainly not our last trip there.

Panty Briefs On Old Women
Advent
Kay finally brought the idea to make a kind of photo advent calendar. We should do every day to send a photo (of whatever) and the other. Because at the moment but it is not online, I have not read your mail address and I thought that it determines may dwell too interesting, I thought to myself, I make the calendar but right here. So I will upload a photo every day, if I is possible.
Let's go!
first December: avenue of ginkgo trees
Today is the first December and scenes like this are rare, since most trees have their leaves yet and seem to make no move to throw it. Today, it was estimated 18 ° warm and we had our winter jackets hanging in the closet again ...
second December
The picture is indeed of the past, but Today, one could make no photos because it was raining buckets. Note the "One Piece" sticker on the rear of the car (and the cat on the roof, of course ^ ^)
third December
Yeah, Matt's 21st Birthday. My cake looked more like a cow patty in white ... With sprinkles ... And candles. At least, Matt was very happy about it. We were the only ones who have him a present;)
4th December
Yes, yes, the Japanese and their English ... This wonderful inscription was found, moreover, has a car wash a gas station.
5th December
Merry Christmas to Kyûshû ...
6th December
look so Japanese package suppliers. Somehow reminds me of the uniform rather than the fire department or the THW in postmen ...
7th December
Today was Moerugomi tag (combustible waste). So you waste disposed of in Japanese: He throws on the street (and waiting for him to pick up the garbage truck comes). In every neighborhood there are uncommitted Gomisutebas (disposable waste-places), where you lie down on the trash pickup day. The intelligent network neighborhoods throw it to the trash bags is not open by crows and cats and the garbage is distributed over the road. If still often enough before.
8th December
9:30 in the morning in Germany ... Well, not quite. But I thought I photograph once the class room where we spend the most. Since it is 5 minutes, before class, yet nothing is on the board.
9th December
In the evening we went to yakiniku (meat that you grill on a grill in the table) to eat with four Japanese girls. Behind did we, as common as in Japan, many pictures and so he also designed this. I personally find John (left) facial expression pretty scary XD
10th December
Today we discovered in our neighborhood, a middle school ... Looks exactly like a manga or anime ...
11th December
Good morning, Kumamoto. Half 8 in the morning, the sun has indeed risen already, but it does not seem very willing to try to well above the treetops. Good time for a photo!
12th December
Today we went
with the Djembe-Kan in a nearby elementary school to the large djembe master of Kumamoto a bit to drum with elementary school children. It was freezing cold, but we still had to wear skirts and thin shells, because it freezes in Japan rather than his outfit to ruin. Sujin (or as they are written), one of the few nice Koreans and member of the Djembe-Kan had pitched the whole time, blue lips and I'm extremely hands, but it was still quite entertaining.
The guy is way far left Shuzo, our leader.
13th December
A piece of home in Japan: German games in the study room of the German and French students.
14th December: Nihon no Seikatsu (Japanese life)
Very Japanese sight while eating in the cafeteria. I must say, as regards the use of the phones we have adapted very quickly to the Japanese. Meanwhile, I can also write emails while I walk somewhere and talk to someone besides me. This is certainly not considered rude in Japan, but as quite normal.
15th December
Such is a board in Japan after the Japanese classroom. This is the rather clean signature of our Teacher who does not really have it in kanji (the Koreans, they have sometimes indicated that they used the wrong kanji ... embarrassing ...).
16th December
They are Marijke and Umeda-sensei at a party of listening comprehension, presentation, and a Japanese class that teaches Umeda-sensei. Umeda-sensei is very anxious to throw us with Japanese and other exchange students together and provide more or less to force them to keep us together ... We were almost forced to go to this party. We have also a koto player (traditional Japanese Stringed Instrument) and get set before the Game has compensated everything. It was beautiful.
Umeda-sensei is teaching me (and the other Germans) in listening comprehension and kanji. The latter is early morning on Thursday, but that does not matter, because Umeda-sensei comes up with a daft story for each kanji, which are usually very amused.
17th December
Marijke ill. She has adapted to the Japanese customs and wearing a mask, which unfortunately saw that her glasses fogged ...
18th December
Chernobyl flair ... A camping table, which exactly resembled the one we always used to have brought to camp, mushy middle of a field. Nice XD
19th December
pigeons order in Japanese. Even the pigeons eighth in Japan on order and harmony. If the Koreans are a leaf out of.
20th December
And now the weather record for Monday, 20 December. Today it was overcast at 17 ° to Sonning and morning showers. Ideal weather ahead of T-shirts and thin jackets.
you will also note the miso soup in Marijke cheeks;)
21st December
recapture of the sky by the sun after heavy rain. Mist hold the city under control.
22nd December
clutter on Japanese ...
23rd December
We in the classroom played an amusing game, which must be put on the blindfold that face nose, mouth and eyes and other classmates give tips where to sit down and they (of course, were completely wrong).
24th December
Today I folded with a student who will soon study in Germany, origami cranes. Very nice, although mine was a folded bit bad ...
